NAF: Mobility Command Organises Competition To Enhance Local Sourcing Of Materials

  The Mobility Command, Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Yenagoa on Thursday organised a Research and Development (R&D) competition to enhance local sourcing of materials to help lower dependency on foreigner materials for NAF's operations. The Chief of Standard and Evaluation, Headquarters, NAF, AVM Bala Abubakar, the Special Guest of Honour said that such competitions would help provide local innovative maintenance methods and logistics support systems. Mobility Command, NAF 2023 Inter-units R&D Competition held at 631 Air Craft Maintenance Depot (ACMD) Hanger, Ikeja, Lagos. The competition held in Lagos State because the Command's 301 Heavy Airlift Group and C130 Aircraft was situated at ACMD Hanger. Massive Turnout Of Voters For Voting At Kosofe

  No fewer than 250 voters lined up for accreditation and voting for the Governorship and House of Assembly elections at Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos on Saturday. The News Agency Nigeria (NAN) reports that officials of the Independent National Electoral (INEC) arrived at 8.55 a.m., while started accreditation at 9.30 a.m. at Ward D Polling Units 044, 048, 051 and 082, Ogudu area of Kosofe.   Nigerian budding rapper, Nwaiwu Kelechi, popularly known  as ‘Krrystal’, on Thursday urged artistes to use their platforms in encouraging youths to participate fully in Saturday’s election to attain the needed change in the country. A popular blogger from Kogi State, Isah Amoto Aliyu, has narrated her ordeal in the hands of a senatorial candidate of the People's Democratic Party in the state, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who he said masterminded his alleged "abduction" by policemen without a warrant of arrest.  In a Facebook post, on Thursday evening, Aliyu, who runs the Ebira4Real blog, said, after being harassed and tortured to write a statement in police cell, Akpoti-Uduaghan walked in and insisted that he must implicate three Kogi government officials, specifically her opponent in the senatorial race, and two others simply identified as "Atimpo and Hi-speed", before he could be released.  According to the blogger, the allegations against the officials she mentioned as it concerned him were strange to him, so he refuted them and remained in detention for 14 days.  He made these revelations as documents emerged, showing that he had dragged the PDP Senatorial Candidate before a Federal High Co
