PCN Lagos Command, Osolo Of Isolo Synergise On Community Security


The Lagos State Command, Peace Corps of Nigeria (PCN) and the Osolo of Isolo, HRM Oba Kabiru Kolawole llufemiloye Adelaja Agbabiaka has synergised for the peace, security and development of the society. 

This was revealed during an official visit by PCN Lagos State commandant, Pat. Kuforiji Olanrewaju Williams on April 12 to the monarch who also happens to be the secretary for the Council Of Obas in Lagos State. 

According to a statement signed by the PCN Lagos Commandant, the visit was done with his team to pay a traditional homage as it is done in yoruba land to the king. 

"The Peace Corps of Nigeria Lagos State Commandant, thank His Royal Majesty, Osolo of Isolo kingdom for his unrelenting support from over the years till date. 



"The commandant also assured the king of his continued support and service in return to the people of Isolo kingdom and Lagos State as a whole. 

"The commandant also went further to update the king on the passage of the Nigeria Peace Corps Bill at the plenary by the Nigeria Senate of the National Assembly at that particular time of the meeting. 

"After all the appreciation, assurance to the king and update on the Nigeria Peace Corps Bill, the Peace Corps Lagos State Commandant went further to make few vital requests from His Royal Majesty. 

"These requests are a befitting office for the Lagos State Command Peace Corps of Nigeria in Lagos State and also to create a channel link to meeting with the Executive Governor of Lagos State. 

"Other requests are operational vehicle for the Lagos State Command and enabled environment for the Lagos State Command of the PCN to be much more effective and operational in Lagos State. 

"His Royal Majesty Oba Kabiru Kolawole Ilufemiloye Adelaja Agbabiaka, the Osolo of Isolo kingdom subsequently gave his positive response and assurance to the commandant of continuation and more intense support to the organization in Lagos State.

"He also appreciated the PCN Lagos Commandant for recognizing his importance towards the growth of the organization in Lagos State." the statement read. 

The meeting came to an end with much more familiarity amongst the council of chief's and pictures were taken to close the meeting.
