How PCN Lagos Command Marked 2022 Democracy Day

The Lagos Command of the Peace Corps of Nigeria marked the 2022 June 12 Democracy Day with a match which involved every member and led by the Commandant, Pat. Kuforiji Williams. 

The movement started at exactly 09:45am with the convergence of all officers at the Lagos State Command in a colourful appearance and high spirit to showcase ourselves in the atmosphere of Peace in NIGERIA. 

The State Commandant Pat. Kuforiji O. Williams led the Peace Walk from the PCN Lagos Command Headquarters through NNPC - Jakande Gate to Pako - Ago Roundabout.

The match continued through Cele Express back to Ago Roundabout, Okota Roundabout - Okota Road — Akinbaye Street - AUD College Road Isolo (The Palace of His Royal Highness the Osolo of Isolo Kingdom, Oba Kabiru Kolawole Ilufemiloye Adelaja Agbabiaka) to Isolo General Hospital, back to Pako — Jakande Gate .

During the match, the Lagos State Command Peace Corps of Nigeria. Officers were stationed at various bus stops to assist other agencies in passing of traffic. 

The Policemen, LASTMA and FRSC officcials on duty were happy to work with the PCN officials.

Though they were bereaved at the Palace but the chiefs and other cabinet members of the Osolo were happy to see the PCN members during the match. 

The State Commandant extended greetings to His Royal Majesty, Osolo of Isolo Kingdom to consloe the king on the loss of one of his family member.

The chiefs prayed for the Peace Corps of Nigeria, Lagos State Command while they also commended the PCN for what they described as "great works done in schools." 

Also one of the chiefs advised that the Lagos State Command give forms for recruitment to youths of Isolo kingdom as at when due.

The Lagos State Commandant then pledged that 10 recruitment forms would be given to His Royal Majesty for a start up as the request was impromptu. 

The quick stop at the palace ended with a closing prayer by one of the Chiefs while the ASC Admin gave the vote of thanks on behalf of the PCN Lagos State Command. 

PCN members further continued the match back to the State Command and arrived at exactly 12:47pm.
