 New NNS BEECROFT commander vows crackdown on maritime crimes   L) Commander, NNS BEECROFT, Commodore Paul Nimmyel with outgone Commander, Commodore Rafiu Oladejo   Lagos, Feb. 6, 2025 (NAN) The new Commander of the Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) BEECROFT, Commodore Paul Nimmyel, has warned pirates to abandon illegal activities, emphasising that tougher enforcement measures await them.   Nimmyel told newsmen on Thursday as he took over the command from the outgone Commander, Commodore Rafiu Oladejo at NNS BEECROFT, Apapa, Lagos State.   He thanked the Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Vice Adm. Akiniyi Oyelade, Deputy Commandant, Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre (NAFRC) Oshodi has encouraged parents, military and civilians alike, to provide adequate care and training for their children as future leaders. Oyelade said this as the Special Guest of Honour at the 2024 Nigerian Navy Ratings End of The Year Party which held at Navy Town, Lagos State.
