Army trains teaching staff for enhanced excellence in Command and military schools  Lagos, Sept.2, 2025 The Nigerian Army is investing in training teaching staff of Command schools and military schools by equipping them with the requisite professional knowledge in line with best practices.  NAFRC concludes annual range classification exercise Lagos, Sept.16, 2025 (NAN) The Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre (NAFRC) successfully concluded its 2025 annual Range Classification 2025 held on Sept.15 at the 192 Battalion Nigerian Army Shooting Range, Owode. The Commandant, NAFRC AVM Bashir Mamman said that the event was more than a test of marksmanship and a reaffirmation of the bond and operational readiness that defined the military profession. The exercise featured weapon classifications which included the rifle and pistol, with emphasis on live firing, safety protocols, and performance evaluations. Mamman lauded the professionalism, discipline, and team spirit displayed throughout the exercise.   NGO donates books, food items to 140 physically impaired students First British Charity Home Foundation (FBCH), an NGO, in Lagos on Friday donated books and food items to more than 100 physically impaired students. The Founder, Mr Evans Uchendu, presented the items to the students of Parcelli School of the Blind and partially sighted children in Surulere, Lagos. He said that the donation was part of its effort to give back to society. Uchendu, who led his team to the school, also called on kind-hearted and well-meaning Nigerians to come to the aid of those in need and the less privileged in the larger community.
