Ansar-Ud-Deen to Inaugurate Foundation Board of Trustees on Saturday
The Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria will on Saturday inaugurate the Board of Trustees (BoT) of its newly established Ansar-Ud-Deen Foundation.
The inauguration, scheduled for Dec. 13 at La Scala Restaurant, MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos, is part of efforts to further strengthen the Society’s faith-based and community development initiatives.
The Society said the Foundation would provide a structured and sustainable platform for its century-long contributions to education, moral upbringing and social support across communities.
President of the Society, Prince Mosediq Adeniji Kazeem, SAN, said the Foundation would focus on education, healthcare, youth empowerment and community development, adding that its operations would be guided by Qur’anic principles of charity, fairness and compassion.
Kazeem said the Board of Trustees would comprise individuals of proven integrity and commitment to service, and would act as custodians of the Foundation’s long-term vision.
He said one of the Board’s key responsibilities would be the renovation and maintenance of Ansar-Ud-Deen mosques nationwide, noting that the Society must ensure its worship centres remain welcoming and dignified.
He added that the Foundation would also support the improvement of Ansar-Ud-Deen schools, provide assistance to Summit University, Offa, and fund social welfare and empowerment programmes for Muslims and the wider public.
According to him, the Foundation will oversee investments and donations on behalf of the Society to ensure transparent management and adherence to halal and ethical standards.
Kazeem said the establishment of the Foundation would help preserve and expand the Society’s legacy of service for future generations.
He urged members in Nigeria and the diaspora to continue supporting the Society’s mission of promoting piety, fairness and progress.
