 LASG lauds Cribvase.com on innovative approach to bridge housing deficit

The Lagos State  government (LASG) on Friday lauded Cribvase.com  for its  innovative approach  to bridge  the housing  deficit in Lagos.


The Chief Registrar Cooperative, Lagos State  government, Mrs Funmilayo Solaru made the commendation at the virtual inauguration of Cribvase.com


Solaru  said that the idea of giving opportunity  to people to own a land investing with as low as N20000  was laudable


The News Agency of Nigeria  (NAN) reports that Cribvase.com  is a real estate investment digital platform that allows one to invest in fractions of verified land properties located in Lekki Lagos state.


She  said that  Cribvase  idea which is  also in line with the states government policy  of addressing  housing deficit should be done in the laid down principles of  corporative society.


According to her, corporative is to give advise, supervise, regulate and monitor activities  of  Cribvase.com


Also speaking at the inauguration  Mr Danika Jegede , Lagos state Ministry of trade and Commerce also lauded the initiative.


Jegede  said that corporative  society is a means of solving  sociocultural  needs and Cribvase.com coming together as a legal entity for government  recognition is laudable.


He said that the group must watch any agreement  that is being contracted is in terms  with the real  estate.


He however  highlighted  the  drivers of corporative  as open to democratic control of members, economic  and members participation, autonomous  and independent among others.


In his address, the secretary, Cribvase.com  Mr Temisa Mamuyovwi‎  said that Cribvase  is licensed as a corperative  under the Lagos State ministry  of trade and Commerce  and working with the regulatory  policy  that governs real estate.


Mamuyovwi‎ said that  the activities  of the platform  would  be monitored  and regulated  policy  guarding the corporative  society .


The secretary  said that with as low as N20000 one could buy shares on a plot of land of which sold yield  high  returns within 12 months due to choice of land.


He said that lands that are being  purchased by Cribvase  had been verified  and properly documented.
