Navy holds workshop on market strategies to enhance operational capabilities 




Lagos, Sept.13, 2024

The Nigerian Naval Engineering Services Limited (NESL) in collaboration with Prime Atlantic Global Engineering Services (PAGES) on Thursday held a workshop with the theme: "Navigating Commercial Waters: Market Strategies for the Nigerian Navy" at the Naval Dockyard, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Rear Adm. Baratuaipri Iyalla, Managing Director and CEO of NESL said that the workshop aimed to enhance operational capabilities, drive innovation and achieve sustainable success.



Iyalla said that NESL's expertise in engineering services, logistics, manufacturing, and training, positions the company as a leading one-stop-shop for engineering solutions.
"The workshop delved into critical areas of growth, strategic market penetration and expansion, building and maintaining strategic alliances, effective partnership development, as well as synthesis and integration of best practices," he said.


Also speaking, Rear Adm. Joseph Akpan, Chief of Policy and Plans, Naval Headquarters Abuja, commended the organisers of the workshop.
Akpan, while emphasising the workshop's objective said that leveraging on businesses like NESL would add value to operational and welfare activities of the Nigerian Navy.
"This collaborative initiative demonstrates the power of synergy, cementing the Nigerian Navy's commitment to innovation and excellence," he said.
The event drew esteemed VIPs, including Rear Adm. LC Izu, Rear Adm. Habila Zakaria, and industry leaders such as Mr Adeola Adeyanju, Executive Director, Prime Atlantic Global Engineering Services and Managing Director, Cinalt Resources Limited.
Others are Managing Director, Prime Atlantic Safety Services, Mrs Folake Soyannwo and the Chief Executive Officer, One Source Mart, Mr Emmanuel Bribena.
