Kogi State, China Sign MOU To Provide High Technology Security Architecture

  The Kogi State government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Chinese investors for the provision of high technology security architecture to tackle insecurity, especially within its borders. The first-of-its-kind smart technology will capture movements in and out of Kogi State from a command and control centre to decimate terrorists, bandits and other criminal elements that may want to infiltrate the state and other 11 states it shares boundaries with.   The District Commander, Vigilante Group of Nigeria(VGN), Mr Olatokunbo Folayan, has urged the residents of Ikorodu and other part of Lagos to be security conscious during and after yuletide holidays. Nigerian Air Force Signs MoU To Improve Security Within Nigeria's Airspace

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) on Thursday, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria (ISPON) to improve ground and flight safety in the NAF. The Minster of Defence, Maj.-Gen. Bashir Magashi (rtd.) said that the peculiarities of air operations had placed an additional burden on the NAF to take the lead in safety matters at all three levels of warfare.   Times Multimedia Limited (TMM) has accused Afreximbank of involvement in a copyright infringement on its Creative Africa Exchange (CAX) IP,  a holistic program that consolidates the African creative and cultural industry.   ECOWAS Commission, Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) and other stakeholders on Tuesday trained political actors and agents for infrastructures for peace platforms across Nigeria on the use of dialogue and mediation as tools for preventing and mitigating election-related disputes and violence. APBN Says High Cost Of Food Worrisome

  The Association of Professional Bodies of Nigeria (APBN) on Monday described the worsening hike in the food prices as worrisome. The association, which said this at a conference held at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce (LCCI) building Alausa, Lagos State, added that more Nigerians needed to be provided with basic needs such as food and shelter. The Chairman of the association, Lagos Chapter, Mr Abayomi Ogunjimi said that the body was in its transition year while new executives were expected to take over from the incumbent. NGOs Make Move To Cover For COVID-19 Losses

  Public Services International (PSI), an NGO, says it seeks srategies on how to resuscitate the economy and cover the losses that countries suffered during the COVID-19 period. Sani Baba, Regional Secretary, PSI, spoke with  the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Tuesday during PSI Regional Conference. Institute Advocates Policy To Address Project Failure
